This is the Rosin midi dress from New Zealand designer Jason Lingard – known for his fluid draping and Japanese-inspired construction techniques. RRP $300. It has a wide, asymmetric v-neckline and a bodice with folded/cut-away details that give a deconstructed layered look. The back has the same v-neckline, diagonal panels, and a waist tie at the side. The tie can be left loose, gathered and tied at the back, or wrapped around and tied at the front. The fabric is 85% rayon and 15% linen. It has a good weight to it so it drapes well, but it’s soft and breathable. Great for summer, but also a versatile layering piece. Excellent condition. Note that the photos have been lightened a bit to show the detail in the dress, but the fabric is a true, deep black. Size S on the label but generously sized – probably more like a standard 14. This can be worn oversized and the tie makes the waist adjustable (I’ve worn it as a size 12), but please check the measurements. Measurements taken when laid flat: Underarm to underarm: 53cm Across waist (in line with waist tie): 58cm Length (top of shoulder to hem): 113cm
