Albert Nipon was a well-known fashion designer who dressed many celebrities in the 1980s-90s, including then-first lady of the USA Nancy Reagan. The brand was sold years ago after he retired. Albert Nipon passed away in November 2022. Here's your chance to own a wrap dress from Mr.Nipon's original line. This one-of-a-kind garment is beautifully made of pure silk in the most stunning "Picasso" print. The colours are rich, and the abstract pattern is simply stunning. The dress is fully lined with rayon and decorated with a large rectangular buckle wrapped in the same fabric. To tighten or loosen the dress, you only need to pull the tie through the buckle and adjust it. The wrap amount is sufficient, securely held inside by three buttons, so it will not unpleasantly surprise you with too much exposure. Very good condition. The only flaw I found is a tiny (2mm) neat mend on the shoulder near the collar and a little discoloration around it. It is not really visible when worn. Marked size US6. FLAT UNSTRETCHED MEASUREMENTS: Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 41cm Armpit to armpit 45cm Waist 37cm Sleeve from armpit 14.5cm Hips ~ 46cm Length along the centre back seam 97cm. Sorry, the pink leather handbag is for photo styling purposes only and is not a part of the listing.
