Description Vintage Hermès Sacoche – “Les Perroquets” An archival Hermès canvas Sacoche featuring Joachim Metz’s celebrated Les Perroquets motif. The design was officially released in 1984. This example bears a © 1973 stamp, most commonly associated with an early hardware production batch — situating the piece within Hermès’ early canvas era. Such examples surface infrequently, particularly in this condition. The Sacoche silhouette features the maison’s iconic gold turnlock closures, echoing the hardware language of the Kelly and Birkin. After approximately fifty years, the closures remain smooth and precise — a testament to Hermès craftsmanship. Canvas remains vibrant. Interior lining is pristine. Strap excellent. Hardware shows only light surface wear. One discreet pinhole to the rear (photographed). Acquired from a respected Parisian vintage boutique. No dust bag. Archival printed Hermès canvas pieces are produced in significantly smaller quantities than leather handbags and are increasingly recognised within the collector market. A considered acquisition for those curating rare Hermès beyond the mainstream classics.
