This cardigan is from Fenn Wright Manson – a British designer label that’s no longer around. I bought it in the UK for £400 (over $900 NZD at today’s exchange rate). The knitting style is almost lace-like, and there’s fringing all the way around the outer edge. At its longest points (including fringing) it’s nearly floor length on me (I’m 170cm tall). This can be worn in a few different ways. You can wear it open, or wrap the two ends across the body and tie/pin it at the back, or turn it upside down to shorten the length so you get more of a shawl around the neckline (I’ve shown these options in the photos). It looks great with a belt too. I removed the yarn label, but this is a wool and mohair blend – I think with something synthetic added for strength (even though it looks delicate, it’s surprisingly sturdy and doesn’t pull easily). There’s just one small pull which has been tucked onto the inside and it isn’t at all noticeable from the outside. You’d struggle to find it. Apart from that, the condition is excellent. The photos don’t do this justice – it looks really dramatic when worn due to the long length and vibrant purple colour. No size label, but I’d call it a 10-12. Please check the measurements. Measurements taken when laid flat: Underarm to underarm (across back): 49cm Length (top of shoulder to longest point including fringe): approx 138cm
