An elasticated gusset for easy on/off access. Locked onto our classic air-cushioned sole with traditional yellow welt stitching. Finished with our AirWair heel loop. PRODUCT FEATURES The 2976 is the rugged Docs take on the classic Chelsea boot. Manufactured since the 70s Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up Pull-on style, with elastic gussets Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch Standard last - recommended for normal to wide feet Smooth leather is tough when initially breaking in. TIP TO BREAK IN: Wear our Double Doc Cotton Blend Socks which have cushioning in all the right places! Applying Wonder Balsam to the inside of the shoe will help soften the leather.
