Vintage 1960s iridescent dress

This is an incredible 1960s dress from the brand Eastex (made in New Zealand). It has metallic green and purple stitching that shimmers in the light, giving it an iridescent look. It comes in slightly at the waist and has coiled details at the front. There’s no fabric label, but it’s made of a good quality synthetic fabric with a nice weight to it, and it’s fully lined. There’s no modern size label, but I’d call it a size 10 (see the measurements below). Overall this is in amazing condition considering its age. There’s a small area of damage on one shoulder where the metallic finish has worn off some of the thread (probably from a handbag strap). I’ve shown this in photo 4, although it looks worse in the photo than it does in real life; the way the fabric catches the light means it’s not very noticeable. Apart from that, the condition is excellent. Eastex was one of several British labels manufactured under license in New Zealand from the 1940s to the 1970s.
