Burberry Prorsum Rich Olive/Khaki Green, Absolutely Stunning 100% Silk Dress. This is an extremely unique & beautifully designed high end garment. Extensive ruching is visible across the top of the bodice at the boat neck and the shoulder at the back. The fabric is then straight before moving into a more loosely ruched midsection, gathering the fabric to create texture and shape at the front and back. There is a piece of fabric running down the front of the dress that covers 6 black logo stamped buttons where the dress can also open at the front. The short cap sleeves are also ruched with a slight raw hedge hem. The bottom part of the dress is a straight skirt with seamed panelling running down the front and a delicate short split at the back for ease of movement. There is a brass gold coloured exposed zip running down the centre back with a larger sized logo stamped pull tab. Burberry Prorsum was the high-fashion runway line of Burberry, known for avant-garde designs, luxury materials, and runway shows, representing the brand's premium offerings until it was unified under the main Burberry name in 2015, then revived by Daniel Lee in 2023 with a return of the Equestrian Knight logo, blending heritage with modern edge. "Prorsum" means "forwards" in Latin, referencing the original 1901 logo and embodying the brand's forward-thinking luxury. Whilst I can't find a photo of this exact dress it seems to match the labels, design and colour scheme of the 2010 Burberry Prorsum F/W Runway. There are some scratches on the metal pull tab of the zip but no major flaws as can be seen. Womens Size (IT) 42 on the label which equates online to fit an AU/ UK 10 but please size off the measurements below.
