In a media briefing right after the Feb 2011 Christchurch earthquake, Mayor Bob Parker announced to the world that the city was “munted” – and Cantabrians embraced the phrase. These tshirts, designed by Christchurch designer Martees of Outside the Square, became an icon of the times – somehow making us feel better while telling our story at the same time.
