Originally purchased in Yakutsk, the coldest city on Earth. Carved by a man who also claimed to be a shaman. Condition is immaculate. Individual price is $30. Two dolls (mother and daughter) are from the Sakha land in the Far North. It is the coldest place on earth and is originally inhabited by Yakuts. The dolls are made from reindeer leather and fur and decorated with beads. I purchased them from an old Yakut artisan. The quality is superior and they still look like new. No funny smell, no defects. The mother doll is 9 cm tall and 5 cm in diameter at the bottom. The daughter doll is 6 cm tall and 4 cm in diameter at the bottom. The price for dolls only is $55.
