This is one of the traditional beaded necklaces of Nusa Tenggara, the Indonesian region east of Bali. I bought it in the island of Sumba. You can wear it as a necklace, bracelet or use it like a meditation/prayer beads. Beads are made from some natural material and not plastic. Every bead is of a unique shape because they are all handmade and each measures between 0.2 and 0.5 cm. There are 122 orange beads and 335 black beads on the necklace which is 122 cm long.
