This is a VINTAGE ITEM . It is a ladies LONG SLEEVED CARDIGAN by TEKAU KNITWEAR LTD. to fit size M (12.14) . It is not new but is in IMMACULATE CONDITION . It is in 100% VIRGIN WOOL knit in a RICH PLUM COLOUR and has the following features : TEKAU KNITWEAR LTD was founded in Ashburton in the 1930s. The company had a presence in Timaru from the 1940s, with the Theodosia Street factory being opened in Timaru in 1961. At the time it was reported to be the most modern textile factory in New Zealand. It housed the company's head office and the company also had factories at Temuka , Methven and Christchurch. The Timaru factory closed in 1982. This cardigan has survived since then in AMAZING FULL COLOUR condition with no holes or pilling and even still has it's spare button attached to the neck label . It has a V neck , buttons down the front with 2 front pockets . Bust : 44 in (112 cm) , inside sleeve 19.5" (50 cm) and back length 26.5 in (67 cm) Will be sent by Secure Courier .
