Is it possible to measure the actual pants waist as the measurements you have provided are the model measurements not the pants to my understanding?

Sorry! I realised I had made a mistake and then I couldn’t edit the answer. I don’t have a measuring tape here but the size guide for size 8 is 68cm waist. I’ve put a photo up of the measurements from the size guide!
