I have grippy soles put on all my shoes and boots immediately upon purchase, both to protect the sole and the shoe/boot and also to avoid slipping, given the smooth leather sole can be precarious. As mentioned, these boots have never been worn

Yes they are real. See pics of the original box. I don’t have the receipt, and net-a-porter has updated their order system so past purchases don’t all show. I’ve contacted them and they can’t regenerate the receipt, but I’ve taken a screenshot of the order page which shows the boots - see attached pic
