Hi, I've updated the listing with more images and measurements. The weigh I would say is medium weight, not heavy to wear. I live in Queenstown and have only ever worn a long sleeve T underneath it and have been warm enough. For extra warmth I would layer up with a merino but don't recall I've had to do that!
