Rare vintage trench coat from the Jan Robert Designer Collection, made in England in the late 1970s to early 1980s. This now-defunct label specialised in stylish, high-quality rainwear with a playful touch, note the charming duck-and-umbrella logo on the inner label. Crafted in a durable 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend with a full lining, this coat features: • Double-breasted front with deep tortoiseshell buttons • Storm flap, back vent, epaulettes and deep welt pockets • Adjustable cuff tabs and a longline silhouette • Classic trench features with true vintage appeal A great find for lovers of vintage outerwear, Y2K minimalism, quiet luxury, or old money styling, easy to dress up or down and a strong capsule wardrobe piece. Size & Fit: Labelled a (vintage) UK 16, best suits NZ 12-16 depending on layers. Relaxed through the body and shoulders. Model is NZ 10–12 and 180cm tall for reference. Condition: Good vintage condition. No major marks or stains. There are some loose threads visible at the top of each shoulder seam (see photos), not structural and could easily be tidied up or left as-is. Rarity: Hard to come by vintage trench from a discontinued English brand, particularly in this condition, cut, and size.
