Martin Margiela Polar Fleece Ensemble from the 1990s Martin Margiela will always be my favourite designer, the way he pioneered a sense of covered-up sexy and upcycled textiles will forever be inspiration to me and many others. This ensemble from the 1990s consists of a mainline polar fleece top and a polar fleece maxi skirt from line 6 (the precursor to MM6) Fall 1999. The top has a fitted silhouette while the skirt features an elasticated skirt that cascades into a loose silhouette and high slit (an iconic Margiela silhouette seen since the late 1980s). A perfectly wearable set that any fan or collector should add to their archive!
