Hi Emma, I totally understand your concern here. As a buyer myself, what I usually do is I do my own deligence check of the item I buy ( either its a preloved bag, shoes, etc.) I can guatantee you that this is 100% authentic. You can also do your own authenticity check from other independent authenticator services. You can use the photos I have uploaded here as they are clearly taken☺️. Excellent! I really really like this bag. It’s what I’m looking for. My only concern is the buckle does look really scratched…or is it just the light? Do you think that could be buffed out?

Hi Emma, I just tried buffing the hardware just now using a gold polishing cloth and it’s now prettier and more shiny however I can still see some fine hairline scratches . Tbh, they are only visible when u really look at them up close otherwise. These hairline scratches are quite common and normal signs of use overtime. I would recommend getting the hardware protectors from Havre de Luxe to prevent getting more scratches. They have excellent handbag and accessory cares available in their website,I purchase from them myself for some of my bags ( they are UK based company). Hope this helps:)
