Stunning vintage long-sleeved funky paisley dress, 60s style. Fabulously funky print, a very reluctant sale! Is obviously made from pure lightweight wool, but no tags. A little coarse but still quite comfortable to wear. I think it is home-made but is constructed very competently. In reasonably good vintage condition. There are a few small issues. - Slight pilling on underarm and under tricep muscle area from friction - Fabric fraying a tad at bottom of the buttons on front – not visible when worn - The interior clasp to hook into a row of threads underneath the mid belt is quite delicate and difficult to use - The 2x belt hooks on the side are a single thick thread – quite delicate Other features - Plastic gold buttons - Cool 60s collar - Removeable belt with a button on it - Tailored to a slightly feminine shape, flattering style to wear - Each arm cuff has two buttons on it Tracked shipping via NZ Post economy.

Hello thanks for your interest! I am 5'5.5 and the dress sits at the widest on my hips right at the point where the vertical button flap ends. I measured this to 61 cm. I think it would depend on your height? Let me know if it would be useful for me to provide another image with multiple measurements down the hip area and superimpose them against the dress. Would be no trouble. Thanks! P.S. Under the flap at the button base the fabric is quite short and there are a couple of threads poking out, but this all sits under the flap when worn. I have added another photo of this.

Thanks for the extra info! Last question, always a trick with vintage styles, are the arms generous by modern standards or are the quite slim through the sleeve width (e.g. upper arm) xx

Hi, have added more photos :) Re arms, I don't think this is generous/loose by modern standards. I would say it is more medium/close to fitted (by modern standards). I have thicker upper arms for my build so this is always a concern for me. This dress is a perfect fit for me, a couple of cm room and comfortable to wear. A bit more snug if I press my arms flat but still little bit of room. For reference I am about 28-32 cm circumference in upper arm, 25 at elbow and 15.5 wrist.
