Very soft, size is a S on the tag but fits like an 8/10, I am 5’7” and is the perfect length on me and I usually wear either an 8 or 10. The straps are adjustable! All buttons and velcro are in perfect working order and no obvious visible flaws asides from general wear over years (nothing specific)
